The CV-3 2 2 2 is an in-line RS-2 3 2 to RS-4 2 2 conver ter. This
product works well with all IMS indexer products and is us eful
when the indexer device is at a dis tance greater than 5 0 feet
which is the RS-2 3 2 lim it. The CV-3 2 2 2 is recom m ended for us e
with the following IMS products :
A gender conver ter or DB2 5 M to DB-9 F adapter is required to
plug the RS-2 3 2 s ide directly into a PC s erial COM por t.

to the CV-3 2 2 2 provided a s tandard adapter is us ed to
connect the CV-3 2 2 2 to the COM por t. If this is the cas e
it is not neces s ary to us e an external +1 2 VDC s upply.
