INSTRUCTIONS

Setting the Blade
To reduce the risk of injury when using this
tool:
1. Insert the frog beveled-edge down into the
throat until it stops on its own or until the
groove in the top of the frog engages the pin,
as shown in Figure 1.

Use care when handling the plane blade.
It is sharp and can cause lacerations.
Protect your eyes from flying chips by
wearing safety glasses.
Make sure the workpiece is properly
secured.
Use both hands to guide the plane over
the workpiece.
