er lets you amplify and distribute the  
VHF signals from cable TV or an FM  
tuner, for example, to four different lo-  
cations. Signal amplification is neces-  
sary when a signal is split, to assure  
that the signal is strong enough when it  
reaches the TV, video disc player, an-  
other VCR, or another FM tuner.

those signals, we recommend a UHF/  
VHF/FM amplified coupler.

To avoid signal loss, reflections or  
“shadows” in your picture, output  
terminals that are not connected to  
a receiver (TV or VCR) should be  
terminated using terminating resis-  
tors (RadioShack Cat. No. 15-  
1144).  
CONNECTIONS  
Your local RadioShack store can give  
you specific information for your con-  
nection needs.  
Note: If you want to connect an output  
to a TV that has only 300-ohm screw  
terminals, use a 75-to-300 ohm match-  
ing transformer such as Cat. No. 15-  
1140.
