Descaling:  
1. Should the appliance switch off  
before reaching boiling point this is a  
sign that descaling is necessary.  
2. A regular descaling agent may be  
used. Ensure that the instructions for  
use are adhered to. In order to avoid  
spillage do not fill the kettle up to  
the max mark as the descaling agent  
may cause the water to foam.  
3. To clean the kettle thoroughly of any  
decalcification residues, boil the  
kettle several times using clean wa-  
ter with each cycle. Rinse the kettle  
with clean water afterwards.  
Cleaning and care:  
1. Before cleaning the appliance, en-  
sure that it is disconnected from the  
power supply and has cooled down  
completely.  
2. Do not use abrasives or harsh clean-  
ing solutions.  
3. Do not immerse the base or the ket-  
tle in any liquid. To clean the exterior
