IMPORTANT: Please retain your
instruction book for future use.
At Kambrook, we believe that safe performance is the first priority in any
consumer product, so that you, our valued customer can confidently
use and trust our products. We ask that any electrical appliance that
you use be operated in a sensible fashion with due care and attention
placed on the following important operating instructions.
Important Safeguards For Your Kambrook
Electric Teapot
• Carefully read all instructions before
operating the Kambrook Electric
Teapot for the first time and save for
future reference.
• Keep the Kambrook Electric Teapot
clear of walls, curtains and other
heat or steam sensitive materials.
Minimum 20cm distance.
• Remove and safely discard any
packaging material and promotional
labels before using the Kambrook
Electric Teapot for the first time.
• Always ensure the Kambrook Electric
Teapot is properly assembled before
use. Follow the instructions provided
in this book.
• To eliminate a choking hazard for
young children, remove and safely
discard the protective cover fitted to
the power plug of this appliance.
• The Kambrook Electric Teapot has
been designed specifically for the
purpose of boiling drinking quality
water only. Under no circumstances
should this product be used to boil
any other liquids or foodstuffs.
• The Kambrook Electric Teapot
must be used only with the power
base supplied.
• The Kambrook Electric Teapot is not
intended to be operated by means
of an external timer or separate
remote control system.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the
handle for lifting and carrying the
Kambrook Electric Teapot.
• Do not place the Kambrook Electric
Teapot near the edge of a bench or
table during operation. Ensure that
the surface is level, clean and free of
water and other substances.
• Do not operate the Kambrook
Electric Teapot on a sink drain board.
• Do not place the Kambrook Electric
Teapot on or near a hot gas burner,
electric element or where it could
touch a heated oven.
• Do not place anything on top of
the lid.
• Before cleaning and/or storing,
ensure the ON/OFF switch is switched
off. Turn the power off at the power
outlet and remove the power
plug from the power outlet before
attempting to move the appliance.
• Use caution when pouring water
from the Kambrook Electric Teapot,
as boiling water and steam will scald.
Do not pour the water too quickly.

• To protect against electric shock, do
not immerse the Kambrook Electric
Teapot base, power base, power
cord or power plug in water or allow
moisture to come in contact with
these parts.
• Do not remove the Kambrook Electric
Teapot from the power base during
operation. Ensure the Teapot has
switched off after the water has
boiled before removing the Teapot
from the power base. If the Teapot is
removed from the power base during
the boiling cycle the Teapot will
automatically switch off.
• Do not move the Kambrook Electric
Teapot while it is switched on.
• Do not open the lid during operation.
• Keep the Kambrook Electric Teapot
clean. Follow the Maintaining Your
Kambrook Electric Teapot section
provided in this book.

Quick Start Guide
1. Remove Kambrook Electric Teapot
from packaging and assemble. Be
sure to place the basket inside the
Kambrook Electric Teapot.
3. Fill the Kambrook Electric Teapot
with 800ml of water and place
onto base.
4. Place 1 tablespoon of tea leaves
into the basket and place lid
secularly on top of the Teapot,
switch on.
5. When the Teapot has boiled,
leave to settle for approximately
60 seconds.
6. Serve tea.
7. Reheat Kambrook Electric Teapot
if required by switching the switch
to the ‘ON’ position.

Operating Instructions
Before First Use
NOTE: Do not fill above the
MAX mark as boiling water
may splash out from the
Kambrook Electric Teapot.
Remove any packaging material
and promotional labels before using
your Kambrook Electric Teapot for the
first time.
It is recommended that before first
use, you fill the Kambrook Electric
Teapot to the maximum level with
cold tap water, bring to the boil and
discard the water.
Your Kambrook Electric Teapot will
only operate when positioned on the
power base with the ON/OFF switch
in the ‘ON’ position. Ensure the power
plug is connected into a power point
and switched on.
2. Add the tea leaves to the basket
and place back inside the Teapot.
3. Ensure the lid is locked firmly into
the Teapot before placing the
Kambrook Electric Teapot on the
power base.
4. Place the Kambrook Electric
Teapot firmly onto the power base.
Plug the power plug into 230V or
240V power outlet and switch‘ON’.
5. Press the On/Off switch to the
‘ON’ position.The power ‘ON’ light
will illuminate.
The Kambrook Electric Teapot will
automatically switch ‘OFF’ once the
water is boiled.
Operation of Your Kambrook
Electric Teapot
1. To fill the Kambrook Electric
Teapot, remove it from the power
base and open the lid by pulling
up. (see Fig. 1)
NOTE: Do not remove the
Kambrook Electric Teapot
from the power base during
operation. Ensure the Teapot
has switched off before
removing the Teapot from the
power base.
6. The Kambrook Electric Teapot
will automatically switch‘OFF’
once the water has boiled. Lift the
Kambrook Electric Teapot from the
power base and pour the water.
Take care to hold the Kambrook
Electric Teapot level, especially
when filled to the maximum level.
To re-boil it may be necessary to
wait for a few seconds to allow
the control to reset.
7. To refill tea, remove the lid from
the Teapot and ensure that the
basket has cooled down before
removing.We recommend that
you use tongs or oven mitts
when removing.

Safety Boil Dry Protection
NOTE: The Kambrook Electric
Teapot must only be used with
the power base supplied. Use
caution when pouring water
from your Kambrook Electric
Teapot, as boiling water will
scald. Do not pour the water
too quickly.
This Kambrook Electric Teapot is
fitted with a safety device, which
protects against overheating, should
your appliance be operated with
insufficient water. If this occurs the
Kambrook Electric Teapot will stop
heating and the switch will move to
the ‘OFF’ position and the illuminated
light will go out.
Should this occur, switch off at the
power outlet and unplug.Allow the
Kambrook Electric Teapot to cool
down before refilling. Remove the
teapot from the power base and add
cold water. Return the Teapot to the
power base.The safety device will
automatically reset.
WARNING: This

Mineral Deposits and
Discolouration
The concealed element in the base of

Removal of Mineral Deposits
Mineral deposits in tap water may
cause the Kambrook Electric Teapot
interior to discolour over time.This
may be removed by using a kettle
cleaner or descaler which is available
from most leading supermarkets,
department and hardware stores.
Alternatively:
1. Fill the Kambrook Electric Teapot
until 2⁄3 full with 1 part vinegar and
2 parts water. Boil and allow to
stand overnight.
2. Empty the solution from the
Kambrook Electric Teapot. Fill the
Kambrook Electric Teapot with
clean water, bring to the boil and
discard the water.
3. Repeat and the Kambrook
Electric Teapot will be ready
for use.
Storage
Ensure that the Kambrook Electric
Teapot is switched off, cleaned and
dried before storing. Ensure that the lid
is closed and locked firmly into place.
Wrap the power cord around the

16 mint leaves
1 tablespoon chai tea leaves
6 lemons
12 tablespoons sea salt

¼ cup dried fruit
1 tablespoon apple flavoured tea leaves
1 cup apple juice
¼ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup mineral water
30g butter
16 iced cubes
6 small green apples, peeled and cored
1. Fill the Electric Teapot with water to
