At Kambrook, we believe that safe performance is the first priority in any
consumer product, so that you, our valued customer can confidently
use and trust our products. We ask that any electrical appliance that
you use be operated in a sensible fashion with due care and attention
placed on the following important operating instructions.
Important Safeguards For Your Kambrook
Convection Panel Heater
• Carefully read all instructions before
operating the Convection Panel Heater
and save for future reference.

damaged cord or plug, or if heater
has been dropped or damaged in
any manner. Return heater to your
nearest Kambrook Service Centre for
examination, electrical or mechanical
adjustment or repair.
• Do not use outdoors. This heater is not
intended for commercial use, such as
construction sites.
• Do not locate the heater immediately
below a socket outlet when in use.
• Do not use this heater with a programmer,
timer or any other device that switches
the heater on automatically. Since a fire
risk may exist if the heater is covered or
positioned incorrectly.
• Do not cover the heater whilst it
is operating.
• This heater is not intended for use in
wet or moist locations. Do not use this
heater in the immediate surroundings of
a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
Do not immerse or allow liquids to be
spilt on heater.
WARNING: In order to
avoid overheating do
not cover the heater.
• This heater has hot and arcing or
sparking parts inside. Do not use in
areas where petrol, paints, aerosols, or
other inflammable substances are used
or stored.
• Extreme caution and supervision is
necessary when this heater is used by
or near children, invalids or animals.
• Do not leave heater unattended.

• Switch ‘OFF’ at the control switch and
power outlet, then unplug and allow
heater to cool down before cleaning
or storing.
• Use this heater only as described in this
instruction manual. Any other use not
recommended by the manufacturer
may cause fire electric shock or injury
and voids all warranties.
• Regularly inspect the supply cord, plug,
control settings, air inlets and outlets
and main housing for any damage in
any way. Immediately cease use of the
heater and return to Kambrook or an
authorised service agent for inspection
or repair.
• To prevent a possible fire or heat
damage, allow ample space around
the heater (1.7m at front and 0.5m

in moving vehicles or boats. Do not use
outdoors. Misuse may cause injury.
• The installation of a residual current
device (safety switch) is recommended
to provide additional safety protection
when using electrical appliances. It
is advisable that a safety switch with
a rated residual operating current
not exceeding 30mA be installed in
the electrical circuit supplying the
appliance. See your electrician for
professional advice.
• The appliance is not intended for use
by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
• It is recommended to regularly inspect
the appliance. To avoid a hazard do
not use the appliance if power cord,
power plug or appliance becomes
damaged in any way. Return the entire
appliance to the nearest authorised

Using Your Convection Panel Heater
•
Turn the heater upright so that
the plastic feet are holding up
the heating unit.
Before First Use
Remove your heater from its carton
and associated protective wrapping.
Unwind the cord to its full length and
remove any protective cardboard or
foam that may have been used to
minimize transportation damage.
Wall Mounting Instructions
Please ensure your wall is capable
of holding the weight of this heater
and that the right screws are used
for your wall.
How to Operate
This unit can be mounted on any
wall in any room of the home. When
selecting a location, decide upon a
position that takes advantage of the
maximum volume of air.
The KPH200 can be either wall
mounted or used on the floor.
Relevant brackets and feet come
with the unit. For wall mounting
operation, follow instructions under
Wall Mounting Instructions.

Securing the Heater Feet
•
The heater has two plastic stands
or ‘feet’ that come with a set
of screws that you will need
to secure at the base of the
product. Locate the screws that
are positioned at the base of the
unit, approximately 5cm from
the far left and right sides of the
heating unit. Unscrew them, but
leave the centre screw in place.

Clip the plastic feet into the two
perforations, located at the base
of the unit.
Line up the screw holes in the
plastic stands with those in the
base of the heater. Re-attach the
screws to secure the plastic feet.

1. Locate the three brackets at the
back of the heater. There are
two brackets at the left and right
hand bottom corners, and one
situated at the top of the heater
in the centre.
CAUTION: Do not
mount the heater
below curtains and/or
other flammable items.
2. As a general safety guide select
a suitable location to wall mount
the heater, approximately

used in a bathroom,
the heater is to be
installed so that
switches and other
controls cannot be
touched by a person
in the bath or shower.

mounted horizontally as per Fig. 1.
3. When selecting a location, make
sure the base of the heater is at
least 500mm from the floor and
the top of the heater is at least
1.5m from the ceiling to ensure
there is adequate air flow into the
air inlet.
4. Measure out and mark the
screw locations. Once you
are confident that the screw
locations are correct, drill suitable
size holes.
5. Take care with inserting the
screws into the holes you have
made, and then mount the
heater onto the screws.
6. Once the heater is mounted on
to the wall, screw in the locking
screw (the shortest screw) to
prevent the heater from being
accidentally dislodged from the
mounting bracket.
7. Visually inspect the air inlet
and outlet to ensure no foreign
material is blocking these areas.

Operating Instructions
1. Plug the cord into a 230-240V
electrical outlet. Be sure the
plug fits tightly, as a loose fit
will cause overheating and
damage the plug. To avoid an
electrical circuit overload, it is
recommended that no other
appliances are plugged into the
same circuit with your heater
when you switch the unit on.
2. There are two ON/OFF switches
located at the top left hand side
of the rear of the heating unit, with
4 settings.
ThermoGuard Overheating
Safety Device
Your heater is fitted with a safety
device that switches off the heater
in the event of overheating. Should
this heater stop working, turn off the
heater and inspect the air inlet and
outlet for blockages. Wait at least five
minutes for the protection system to
reset before attempting to restart
the heater.
If the heater fails to operate or the
safety device switches off again,
return the heater to your nearest
Kambrook Service Centre for
examination or repair.
- OFF
- Low (800W)
- Medium (1200W)
- High (2000W)
When the heater is not in
operation, both switches will be in
the OFF position.
3. To activate the LOW heat setting,
press the switch marked 800W
from OFF to ON.
4. To activate the MEDIUM heat,
setting, press the switch marked
1200W from OFF to ON.
5. To activate the HIGH heat setting,
press both the 800W & 1200W
switches from OFF to ON.
6. To turn the heater completely
off, return both of the OFF/ON
switches to the OFF position.

Care and Cleaning
Always turn off and then unplug the
heater before cleaning
Use only a clean, dry cloth to
clean the external surfaces of the
heater only.
If the heater has collected dust or
dirt inside the unit or around the
elements, have the unit cleaned by
a qualified service agent. Do not
operate the heater in this condition.
Do not attempt to open the case of
the heater at any time there are no
customer serviceable parts inside.
When not in use, pack the heater in
its original box for best protection and
store in a cool, clean and dry location.

Kambrook 12 Month Replacement Warranty
In Australia, this Kambrook Replacement
purchase (or 3 months commercial use).
Warranty does not affect the mandatory
statutory rights implied under the Trade Practices
Act 1974 and other similar State and Territory
legislation relating to the appliance. It applies in
addition to the conditions and warranties implied
by that legislation.
The Kambrook Replacement Warranty does not
apply to any defect, deterioration, loss, injury or
damage occasioned by, or as a result of, misuse
or abuse, negligent handling or if the product
has been used other than in accordance with
the instructions. The Kambrook Replacement
Warranty excludes breakables such as glass and
ceramic items, consumable items and normal
wear and tear.
In New Zealand, this Kambrook Replacement
Warranty does not affect your mandatory
statutory rights implied under the Consumer
Guarantees Act 1993 in relation to the appliance.
It applies in addition to the conditions and
guarantees implied by that legislation.
